I am very proud and humbled to serve as Fire Chief of the Bellingham Fire/Rescue & Emergency Services
Department. The Firefighter/Paramedics and Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technicians of this
department are very dedicated, hardworking and compassionate individuals that strive to provide the
best possible services to the community. Since my first day on the department, I am constantly
reminded how our staff goes above and beyond each day to provide the best emergency and nonemergency
services they can to our community.

As a young child, I was fortunate to grow up in Bellingham and attended Bellingham schools. Prior to
becoming Bellingham’s Chief, I served the department as a private, Lieutenant, and Deputy Chief. I am
truly honored to work in this community and more honored to serve as your Fire Chief.

Bellingham Fire/Rescue & Emergency Services I believe are second to none. My goals as your Chief are
to provide the citizens with the most effective and cost efficient emergency services available and
ensure that we always strive to make our community safer for our residents, visitors and firefighters.

I intend to strengthen our department’s community ties, expand our department’s community outreach
and provide education and prevention activities and enforcement that move our community forward. I
look forward to working with our residents, businesses and elected officials to ensure that we continue
to provide first class emergency, non-emergency and fire prevention services to our residents.

If you ever need assistance, information or have questions, please do not hesitate to contact Bellingham
Fire/Rescue & Emergency Services for assistance.
