Bellingham Women of Today Begin 32nd Year
BWOT begins 32st year

The BWOT, a nonprofit civic organization, has served Bellingham and surrounding communities for over 30 years.  It is one of six Massachusetts chapters of the United States Women of Today.  This organization was founded in 1985 by former members of United States Jaycees Women.  The United States Women of Today has more than 1,880 members in 13 states in America and Limassol, Cypress is our international chapter.

The BWOT raise money for both local and national charities. On the local level we support our food pantries, senior centers, school groups, police and fire departments, and families in need. Some of the activities we have sponsored in Bellingham include our annual telethon for needy families, breakfasts with Santa and the Easter Bunny, children’s Halloween party, letters from Santa, Santa’s Elves Project, Easter baskets for Meals on Wheels Seniors, High School Scholarships, and aid  for a local Woman’s Shelter.  The Mass. state charities are concerned with ending hunger, and the USWT focus is on domestic violence awareness.  Thirteen states have WOT chapters and one international chapter in Limassol, Cyprus.
We would like you to join us as we continue to serve our community.  We are open to men and women 18 years or older. We meet in the upper town hall, 10 Mechanic Street, Bellingham, on the second Monday of the month at 7:30, September through June.  For more information, email bwotevents@hotmail.com.
