Newport, R.I. Playhouse & Cabaret Restaurant Day Trip – On Thursday, August 12, depart from the Senior Center on a chartered luxury coach for sightseeing along Ocean Drive then off to a hearty buffet luncheon at the Cabaret Restaurant. After the meal you will enjoy a performance of “Don’t Dress for Dinner” at the Playhouse and then back to the Cabaret. Your package costs $73 pp. and includes: the tour, buffet, show, cabaret, drivers tip, and return around 5:30 pm.
The Polka Festival Aqua Turf Club CT. Day Trip – On Tuesday, Sept 14, depart at 8:30 from the Senior Center on a chartered luxury coach for a delightful day to Central Connecticut. Your package costs $67 pp. and includes: a coffee and donuts welcome, lively music and authentic polka dancing, a delicious family style luncheon, drivers tip, and return around 5:30 pm.
Aqua Turf Family Style Dinner
Your choice of entrée: Penne pasta with meat sauce, stuffed cabbage, pierogies, kielbasa and sauerkraut, boiled potatoes, carrots, soup, tossed salad, dinner rolls and butter, Oreo cookie fudge roll dessert, and beverage.
The Log Cabin’s Italian Feast Day Trip – On Wednesday, October 13, depart at 8:00 from the Senior Center on a chartered luxury coach for a fabulous day with delicious food, great entertainment, and scenic surroundings. Your package costs $70 pp. and includes: a visit to Atkins Farm Stand in Amherst, the “Italian Fest-Tony Bennett and Friends” show with celebrity impersonator Tony Mazz, a full course luncheon at the Log Cabin (including: hors d’ouerves, welcome tray, garden salad, chicken parmesan, penne pasta, meatballs, vegetables, ice cream parfait, wine, coffee, drivers tip, and return around 5:00 pm.
***When you travel with us, please park in our lot as far from the Center as possible to leave closer parking spaces free for regular Center attendees. Most charter daytrips require a minimum of 40 people. If a trip is cancelled because not enough people sign up, payments will be refunded.
If cancellations are received after the deadline and no insurance or waiver was purchased, it is the responsibility of the traveler to dispose of their place on the trip. If you require personal assistance throughout the trip, you must arrange for a companion to accompany you.
Travel preference is given to Bellingham residents during the first week a trip flyer is posted, and then sign-up is open to all seniors, family members, and others.
The File of Life medical forms (or other emergency info card) will be required for each person going on our trips. You may pick them up at the Senior Center Office at no charge. These must be shown before you board the bus.
