The DPW has received a copy of the HomeServe – Water Service Line Coverage flyer, shared with us by a resident.
The Town of Bellingham and DPW has no affiliation with the private company HomeServe. It appears they are selling water service line replacement insurance. We do not provide any endorsement or recommendation related to this private solicitation.
Generally the information in the flyer appears accurate as it relates to the Bellingham Water Use regulations. Water customers are responsible for all costs associated with repairing leaky water service lines on their property (from the curb side shut-off valve to and in their buildings).
Some customers have contacted us and we just want to clarify that this solicitation is in no way a part of the Town of Bellingham or DPW services.
