Our staff reads a wide variety of books. The genre that each staff person tends to read is listed below. Please click on the link to the staff person's name to go to a listing of their favorite books in the library catalog!
Amanda B. is a Library Technician. She primarily reads young/new adult books of all genres with a strong focus on LGBTQ+ representation.
Amanda M. is an Administrative Coordinator. She reads a lot of young adult fiction series, fantasy and science fiction books.
Anne is a Library Technician. She primarily reads popular fiction. She is in a book club and reads a variety of non-fiction as well.
Barbara is the Senior Library Technician. She enjoys primarily fiction, especially mysteries and thrillers. She also belongs to a book club with a variety of book genre.
Bernadette is the Library Director. She likes to read biographies and non-fiction of people who are not famous that do extraordinary or unusual things. She also loves classic fiction and 30's and 40's film noir.
Carol works in Accounts Payable and is a Library Assistant. She prefers light, upbeat fiction, but has been pleasantly surprised by some recommended non-fiction. She will occasionally read non-fiction that piques her interest.
Diane is a Library Assistant. She enjoys literary and historical fiction, especially books set in New England. She also loves thrillers and memoirs.
Doreen is a Library Assistant. Her favorite genres include: psychological thrillers, suspense, fantasy, good old cozy mysteries, and twisted fairy tales.
Jane is a Library Assistant. She enjoys reading historical fiction, British mysteries, as well as non-fiction adventure and travel.
Malathi is a Library Assistant. She mostly reads nonfiction books that inspire personal growth, financial understanding and purposeful living through mindsets and daily habits.

Melissa is the Youth Services Librarian. She reads mostly fiction novels and dystopian and fantasy series. She also enjoys some mystery and historical fiction as well as listening to nonfiction audiobooks.
Molly is the Teen & Local History Librarian. She enjoys reading historical fiction and science fiction.
Suzanne is the Supervisor of Public Services. She enjoys reading horror, science fiction, and dark fantasy. She also reads thrillers and some historical fiction. For nonfiction, she'll pick up some biographies as well as books about hard and soft sciences.
