Bellingham Elder Service Group (Friends Group)

Bellingham Elder Service Group (BESG) is a private, non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide funds for programs, services, and equipment for the Bellingham Senior Center that cannot be provided by state or local government.  This organization supports the future of high-quality programs for the elderly in Bellingham.  The BESG raise funds through membership dues, donations, and special events. These funds are used to promote activities and services that benefit elders in Bellingham and to purchase needed accessories, equipment or furnishings for the senior center.  You can support the Bellingham Senior Center by joining the Bellingham Elder Service Group (BESG).

BESG Membership: Annual membership for the BESG is $5 per person.  Membership is open to all regardless of residency.  Annual membership expires on December 31st of each year.

Please consider making a donation to the BESG in memory of a loved one.  An acknowledgement of your donation will be sent to whomever you designate and will be published in the senior center newsletter.

Please make checks payable to the Bellingham Elder Service Group.

Also each year with the kindness of donations, dues, and your support, we are able to help others. Annual donations are made to the needy in town by helping with heating bills, electric bills or food certificates. Groups that are helped are “Loaves & Fishes” Food Pantry at St. Blaise Church, “St. Vincent de Paul” fuel fund, Tri-Valley Elder Services, and to the Town’s Police, Fire, and Department of Public Works.
