Annual Town Census

Bellingham’s Annual Town Census documents have been mailed out. Please update and return forms as soon as possible. Massachusetts General Law (MGL) states that the census (or Street Listing) form must be returned within 10 days. Per MGL, failure to return your municipal census forms will result in a voter status change to “Inactive”, and, may ultimately result in removal from the voter rolls. If there are no changes, simply sign the document and return in the envelope provided. Completed forms may also be dropped off at the Town Clerk’s Office, the library, the Senior Center, or Rockland Trust Bank.

2020 Dog licenses are now due and available. Attached to the town census is a dog license application. If you would like to renew a dog license by mail, please include a copy of a current rabies certificate and a check for $15 (neutered or spayed) or $20 (non-neutered). We will process and mail your license(s) to you. Dog licenses are renewable annually, and due no later than April 1stfor the calendar year January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020. Be sure to register your dog early to avoid costly late fees and fines!
NOTE: The Annual Town Census is totally separate from the Federal “Census 2020”. Please respond to both, and, return them to the appropriate location.
