The Bellingham Police Department is a progressive, well-trained, and community-focused agency serving a growing community of more than 17,000 residents in Bellingham, Massachusetts. Our department operates 24/7 and provides a full spectrum of policing services—including patrol operations, investigations, traffic safety, school resource officer programs, behavioral-health response, and modern public safety communications.

We are a team-oriented organization that values professionalism, integrity, and continuous improvement. New officers join a department where training, mentorship, and career development are priorities. We actively support officer growth through specialized assignments, leadership opportunities, and ongoing education. Bellingham PD is currently engaged in the Massachusetts Police Accreditation Commission (MPAC) process, ensuring our policies and practices meet the highest standards in the state.
