Norfolk County Mosquito Control District:
Please be advised that the Norfolk County Mosquito Control District will be conducting aerial larval control helicopter applications for 2 to 4 days; beginning on Wednesday, April 23 through Thursday, April 24, 2025 (weather permitting). These applications are not ‘sprays’, but instead are granular applications of a biological larvicide applied to wetlands only.
This is to notify you that the Norfolk County Mosquito Control District and its contracted helicopter company, North Fork Helicopter’s Ltd., will be conducting aerial larvicide applications in the district beginning tomorrow, April 23, 2025 possibly through Friday, April 25, 2025 between the hours of 7:00 am and 7:30 pm daily (weather/wind permitting).
The following is a list of the numbers of the helicopters and a brief description of them to help you confirm their presence if residents call.
