***Central Station MUST be notified that the System will be taken off-line***
Prior to disconnecting or impairing a fire protection system, Massachusetts licensed contractors shall email the Fire Prevention Division.
The email must include the following:
- Date
- Permit number if applicable
- Business address
- Reason for disconnecting
- Company name and phone number
- Technician's name, phone number, and MA license number
Once the system is restored to its designated operation state, please email the Fire Prevention Division.
