In 2012 the Bellingham Public Library was awarded a federal Institute of Museum and Library Services grant through the Library Services and Technology Act. This grant, which was administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, enabled the library to hold programs to help job seekers. Below under Workshop Materials and Networking Meetings are handouts from those programs that can assist job seekers,

Resume & Cover Letter Writing
our reference staff is available to assist in formatting and printing resumes and cover letters. To create a resume, see an easy-to-use form to fill out which will generate a professional looking resume.

The library owns a large collection of books on job searching and career topics, including: resume writing, interview techniques and using social media in job searching. View a partial list.
The following programs were held in 2012. The presenters have summarized the main points of their programs, and links to this content have been created. This will serve as a review for those who attended programs, as well as teach those who did not attend the main points learned at each event.
