A typical flushing season:
Our program starts on Grove St working towards Hartford Ave, then moving along Hartford Ave easterly with the side roads after that. The program then starts to run southerly through Town. This program usually runs through the summer, depending upon tank water levels. A frequent street listing is generally posted here each week. Flushing usually takes place Monday to Thursday. Also, streets that are not flushed will be carried over to the next week. We follow a sequence of opening and closing valves in the street to flush areas with previously cleaned water that regenerates the clean water in the pipes.
