Friends of the Library
The Friends are an active group of volunteers helping to promote the library in the community.
Our Mission
Our Mission is to stimulate the interest of the community in the services and needs of the Bellingham Public Library, to enrich the cultural life of the community, and to promote a program of assistance through volunteer help and fund raising that will enable the library to maintain pace with the growth of the town of Bellingham.

The Friends are recipients of the proceeds from the Used Book Nook Sale that is in the library lobby every day. The book sale's revolving inventory of all kinds of books (hardcover, paperback, fiction, nonfiction, children's), DVDs, Music CDs and other materials that have been donated to the library or deleted from the library collection are offered at extremely affordable prices. Buy and support the Friends of the Library!
The Friends provide money for programming, equipment, and materials by having fundraising events through out the year. Some of the programs are: Book Sales, Raffles, etc. The group meets once a month. New members are always welcome. Check the library calendar for the next date of a Friends meeting.
