The Parks Commission is a group of volunteer members of the community who are interested in the stewardship of the Town of Bellingham Parks. Each month the Commission meets to review permit requests, on-going operation and maintenance, and current and proposed project statuses.
Mission Statement
The primary mission of the Bellingham Parks Commission is to set policy and render decisions on park usage, operation, maintenance, capital improvements, and recreation activities. The Parks Commission will make a commitment to providing the Town of Bellingham with recreational sapces that create a competitive, safe and positive learning experience as well as initiating, managing and implementing new ideas that will preserve the Town's resources and increase the quality of our Parks and Recreation activities.
