This is a great tool for preliminary research where you can look at aerial photographs, FEMA floodplain mapping, wetlands that are approximated from aerial photo interpretation, topogrophy/contours, vernal pools, natural heritage species estimated or priority habitats and so much more!! Please keep in mind, the wetlands depicted on MassMapper are ESTIMATED and is not accurate to on site locations or presence of wetlands, this is an initial PLANNING tool. Please Call the Conservation Office for a site visit or contract with a wetlands professional to determine the actual boundaries of onsite wetlands.
