Parent Information Session

Will your BMS student be coming to the library after school next school year?

If so, it is very important that you attend one of our public information sessions, scheduled fro Thursday, May 23rd at 7 pm or Tuesday, May 28th at 4:45 pm.

We will be discussing issues that have developed over the past school year that have become increasingly challenging for library patrons and library staff. We are looking for your input for solutions that will enable us to continue to offer services to your children.  Issues to be discussed will include:

Assisting the library trustees in determining at what age children should be permitted to be in the library building without being accompanied by an adult.

The current use of the library building and grounds as a after school “hang out” space and the behavior issues and challenges that has presented to library staff.

We look forward to sharing this information with you and getting your input to ensure that our library continues to meet the needs of the community in the best way possible.
