Library Research & Tech Help Policy

Library staff is not always available to assist with in-depth technology or research questions without an appointment.  When library staff initiate a help session, and it becomes apparent that the patron need will exceed the library capacity at that time, the patron will be advised to schedule a one-on-one appointment.  Furthermore, the library reserves the right to inform any patron that their technology needs are outside of the scope of the service we provide, and in those circumstances, we will do our best to refer the patron to a source that can help.  Patrons are limited to two (2) one-on-one appointments lasting no longer than 45 minutes each per month.
