Planning Board Associate Member Vacancy

In accordance with the Bellingham Charter Article 3, Section 6, paragraph 1, the Select Board and Planning Board will meet for a joint vote to fill the vacant associate member position on the Planning Board. 

As authorized by G.L. c. 40A Section 9 there shall be one associate member of the Planning Board.  Such associate member shall act on special permit applications when designated to do so by the Planning Board Chair, in case of absence, inability to act, or conflict of interest on the part of any member of the Board. 

This appointment will fill an unexpired term which is set to expire March 2026.  Interested individuals should fill out the attached application and return it to the Select Board’s office no later than Friday June 7th.
