REMINDER: Dog License Late Fees/Fines

As of May 1, 2024, any unpaid dog licenses will be subject to a $25 late charge per household per Bellingham Town Bylaw.

If not paid by June 1, 2024, and additional citation carrying a $50 fine will be levied. In accordance with State Law, any unpaid dog license

will be forwarded to Milford District Court. In Bellingham’s case, this referral will take place in July.

Dog license applications get mailed out with the Town Census in January, with a due date of April 1^st and an additional 30-day grace period

until late charges are assessed. 

Please apply for your dog license immediately to avoid any late fees or fines!
